About the Bach flower research programme

Since its inauguration four years ago, this Bach flower research programme website has been described as a ‘non-commercial site, sponsored by The Twelve Healers Trust’. As some users of the site will already know, the detached yet invaluably supportive agency behind its development has been Healing Herbs Ltd. Because we have always maintained editorial objectivity and a strict policy of  ‘no commercial links’, there was no need to proclaim this disinterested input from Healing Herbs.

We hoped this would encourage a more communal and open approach throughout the Bach Remedy world, in keeping with Dr Bach’s own vision. Much has been achieved, and this is evident on the many and varied pages of this website. Last year’s International Bach Conference in Cromer, with which we were associated, was also testimony to this strong collective spirit.

Healing Herbs Ltd has now decided to declare openly its support for the work of the Bach flower research programme. The ideals that inspire this website will not change in any way and we are as keen as ever to publish a wide range of research, views, experiences, ideas and argument - all with a more interactive participation. We also plan to improve access to the large number of features already on the site and, with the help of subscribers, continuously update its archives as a resource for free-thinking researchers into Bach Flower therapy.

We are asking you to help us maintain it as the pre-eminent online reference and research site. Firstly, please email us with your ideas and suggestions for its restructuring and improvement. (And if you have experienced any difficulty navigating the menus and accessing particular pages, please do tell us.) And secondly, do make specific proposals for new contributions from yourself or others. (In English if possible, but we also welcome other languages.)

Without your support and involvement this project has little future as a forum for furthering independently-minded research into the Bach flower remedies. It has only one purpose: to serve you as members of the Bach flower community.

Training

The editor of BFRP is often asked to recommend a training course for Bach flower therapy. At present we are providing this link to the excellent programme at Neal’s Yard in London, and we intend to provide additional links as well. The editor welcomes information about other courses throughout the world. Please contact him at editor@edwardbach.org.
